3rd th Erice Workshop - Florence
August 23-25 2007 Florence - Italy

The ERICE (Empowerment and Resilience in Children Everywhere) III Meeting was held in Florence by the Innocenti Institute from 23rd to 25th of August 2007. It brought together Arab and Jewish child mental health professionals to formulate and accomplish joint projects to enhance the well being of children and families directly or indirectly affected by the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Guided by the belief that children everywhere are to be cherished and that respect for and protection of children is a shared human value, ERICE works to promote human rights, joint action, training and interventional projects focused on enhancing the well-being of children and families that neighbour one another in this strife-torn region of the world.

ERICE is affiliated with a number of leading Israeli, Palestinian, Italian and American Universities including: Al Quds University, Tel Aviv University, Hebrew University, Barllan University, University of Rome and Yale University.

The third meeting was organized by Foundation Child in collaboration with Yale University and gathered major child psychiatrists and researchers appointed by the most renown universities.
